 The norm within the professional services industry is to charge a rate per hour for services rendered. Telephone calls, office meetings, or any other time spent is subject to this hourly rate. Normally each year that rate goes up, whether for tax preparation, accounting and bookkeeping services, or financial statement publication. Frankly, if the same services are provided year-to-year, that rate per hour should not change – in fact is should go down! But it doesn’t! Insight Companies operate with a whole new and different philosophy.
We charge a single fee for our project work. We don’t believe that a “meter” should ever be running in such partnerships, and we don’t want to place anyone or your business in the position of making a dollar investment decision every time help may be required. Consequently, you have access to us and our resources for a single project fee, as perscribed within our working agreement. You know your investment from the outset.
